Startup tip --- After downloading IE4 (takes 20+ at T1 speeds) and installing (another 5-20 minutes) IE4 creates a shortcut on the desktop that insists on registering with Microsoft. BYPASS this by going to Start, Programs then to the Internet Explorer Program.
EXTREME CAUTION -- POSIBLE SECURITY BREACH:the registration uses your mail address and PASSWORD. The PASSWORD is sent and stored at Microsoft.. I did not enter a valid password. It gave me an invalid password error and then I clicked on send me my password.. Was greatly surprised to shortly recieve an email from Microsoft with my work personal password.. This was the same password I used to log into servers for account creation and maintenace.. It apparently got the password from a mail program on my disk drive. The password was immediately changed..
